So today's post we'll keep super simple...


We are involved with a super cool program that recycles Oyster Shells from our restuarant.

So the main premise of this program is to help me rebuild the oyster stocks in the Chesapeake Bay. I've had the fortune of coming in contact with several of their organizers, and we are an active part of this awesome program.


On the short side, just know that every time you order our local oysters at Chef Tony's, we collect both sides of the shells which are picked up every two weeks and through a process of cleaning and preparing, they are put back into the Chesapeake Bay.


For example, did you know that one Oyster Shell can help spawn up to 10 new oysters?
