I'm proud to be local!

I don't publish as much as I probably should about my recent involvement with several local food causes...


As a small restaurant owner, my time IS limited, but I'm trying to get out as much as possible, and one cause that I'm stoked about is the Montgomery County Food Council.


Just yesterday they presented an award to a winner of their latest Summer Eat Local Challenge.  The dish that I chose to prepare for their Happy Hour was a Runner Up, but fit my menu best.


The dish is a "hash" of sorts with Golden and Red Beets, Bacon (always good) and Yukon Gold Potatoes...we'll feature it on our brunch menu starting this Sunday, June 7th at least for a month, probably longer!


It's a very easy dish to do, and great for those lazy Sunday mornings around the breakfast table.
